Rio Cristal Zinc Corporation (TSXV: RCZ) is a Canadian exploration company, incorporated under Canada’s Business Corporation Act (British Columbia), focused on the discovery and development of zinc deposits in Peru. The Company controls the rights to acquire a 100% interest in the Charlotte Bongará claim block.

The claim block is located in the Amazonas Department of Peru and consists of 34 contiguous concessions and 4 application stage mining concessions totalling 25,073 hectares. The Company’s concessions are bordered by a zinc oxide project controlled by Cementos Pacasmayo to the east and by Votorantim’s Florida Canyon advanced zinc exploration project to the south. These concessions include the Cristal, San Jose and Florida exploration projects. Multiple drill targets have been identified at Cristal and initial exploration work will begin at San Jose and Florida in mid-2008.
